Meet N’nako “Goodhealthdiva”, an Ivorian-born writer proud to call Chattanooga, Tenn. her home. In her latest book Strolling Chattanooga: Winter in the Scenic City she provides readers with a glimpse of Chattanooga, arguably one of the south’s most visually stunning cities.
Camera, pen, and exploratory spirit in tow, N’nako visits popular tourist spots like the Chattanooga Choo Choo and the Hunter Museum of American Art, as well as tucked away favorites like Star Line Books, the city’s only locally-owned book store. N’nako assures readers that the book isn’t intended to bog them down with historical facts, writing that it serves more as a “visual diary from one who loves to walk, play tourist, and who considers herself in a prolonged stay-cation.”
N’nako is also the author of Little Corey and Nia’s Fun Trip to the Farmer’s Market, the first installment of a children’s series written to encourage families to develop healthier lifestyles. It’s easy to see why the topic is important to N’nako; in addition to being a twice self-published author, she is also a mother, wife, personal trainer, wellness coach, and owner of “N’nako”, an organic skin care line (or in other words, she exemplifies the phrase #BlackGirlMagic).
